Ceramics Courses Are Back!
Our September Ceramics Courses are here!
Are you more than a little clay-curious? Take these 8-week, in-depth courses and grasp the basics in Pottery and Sculpture. Students get an initial allotment of clay and can access the studio outside of class time during The Amp’s operating hours to continue their projects throughout the course duration. Our Ceramics Extraordinaire, Kaylee Gernant (The Amp’s Ceramics Director) previously taught Ceramics at County College of Morris, and boasts an amazing portfolio of mesmerizing sculptures and beautiful pottery pieces.
- Introduction to Wheel:
- Learn traditional pottery techniques on the wheel to make your own pots, cups, vases and more!
- Class Schedules:
-Tuesdays, 10am-12pm (Starts 9/1/26)
-Wednesdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm (Starts 9/9/26) - Payment plans available
- Introduction to Figural Sculpture:
- Discover the joy of sculpting by learning handbuilding techniques focused on sculpting anatomy-based pieces.
