Ceramics Courses Are Back!
Our Winter Ceramics Courses are here!
Are you more than a little clay-curious? Take these 8-week, in-depth courses and grasp the basics in Pottery and Sculpture. Students get an initial allotment of clay and can access the studio outside of class time during The Amp’s operating hours to continue their projects throughout the course duration. Our Ceramics Extraordinaire, Kaylee Gernant (The Amp’s Ceramics Director) previously taught Ceramics at County College of Morris, and boasts an amazing portfolio of mesmerizing sculptures and beautiful pottery pieces.
- Introduction to Wheel:
- Learn traditional pottery techniques on the wheel to make your own pots, cups, vases and more!
- Class schedules:
- Wednesdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm (Starts 11/4/26)
Sign-Up by 11/10/26 (We’ll catch you up on or refund the first class) - There will not be a class on Thanksgiving (11/25/26)
- Open studio hours during The Amp’s normal hours

The Amp School of Music Is Open!
Music Lessons Are Starting!
Guitar, bass, piano and drum lessons are coming soon to The Amp (with additional instruments waiting in the wings as classes ramp up). Great local instructors will teach lessons in the The Amp’s new music wing, which also features studio space for band rehearsals. The Amp’s mainstage will showcase student performances several times a year.
