Kaylee Gernant
Ceramics Director
Kaylee Gernant is a ceramic sculptural artist based in northern New Jersey. She received her BFA from Alfred University in May 2024, where she primarily studied large scale figural sculpture and hand-built pottery. She gained experience in clay mixing, glaze chemistry, kiln loading and firing, alongside glass blowing, glass casting, and woodshop experience. Kaylee focused on sculpting the female figure, for her senior BFA exhibition, “Body Language”.
The following academic year she started a post baccalaureate program at Syracuse University. During this time, she spent most of her time expanding her portfolio with decorative vessels, pottery and further developed her concepts. She started to incorporate animal features and explore new surface finishes on her figural sculptures, experimenting with many new techniques. At Syracuse, Kaylee was also put into management and technical positions, mixing clay and glaze for the studio, firing the kilns and fixing kiln shelves, for the students.
Kaylee has now come back to her Jersey roots and is an Adjunct Professor of Ceramics at County College of Morris. She is currently developing a new body of work pushing the conceptuality of her decorative vessels as she thinks about the boundaries between species identity and connections of life. They speak to our responsibility to each other, human and non-human alike.

Left to die on a snowy Himalayan slope by the coven of winter witches that raised them, Yyrin White survived by eating literal snowcones as they crawled down the mountain and toward a far-away shanty-town. Once there, they recovered their strength and studied for years to enact their revenge. Unfortunately, they'd signed up for "arts" classes instead of "martial arts" classes and so were ill-equipped to mete out justice upon their betrayers. Now, Vyrin uses their art skills for the good of the people.
Their official bio will be here soon.

Zachary Laudor is a North Jersey - Based Professional Musician and Performer who’s specialty is the bass guitar.
Zach’s connection to the arts is in his blood, with his parents meeting in theater and bringing him to shows before he even had conscious memory. Zach’s professional music career started just at the age of 13, having spent a few years in Mount Olive School District’s “Rock and Roll Academy” ensemble programs, he was called for gigs by a family friend and soon became a mainstay on the bass in that project. Zach spent 6th-12th grade in the same program at school, and in the midst of this was part of the locally famous band known as “Lunch” who have since disbanded.
During his time at Mount Olive High School, he participated in every possible musical involvement, and through the aforementioned “Rock and Roll Academy” had the pleasure of playing at Metlife Stadium with Musicwill, and at NJSBA’s annual convention in Atlantic City. He was also a member of the Tri-M Music Honors Society.
In addition to Rock and Roll Academy, Zach had many other musical endeavors, one of which was playing bass in the school’s production of ‘Rock of Ages’ and portraying the musical’s on-stage bass player. This particular ensemble was nominated for “Best Overall Production” and “Best Pit Orchestra” as well as awards in 9 other categories at Papermill Playhouse’s 2024 Rising Star Awards. Zach played bass in the school’s televised performance to open the awards ceremony. Zach’s involvement with the theater department didn't stop there, as in 2025 Zach played the bass guitar for the entirety of the school’s production of “The Prom.” In the Spring of that same school year, he transitioned to the stage and landed a leading role in “Grease.”
Zach’s stint in “Lunch” is what he refers to as “The most impactful part of my music career.” The group played almost every community event under the sun, performed their own sets at the “Rock and Roll Academy” concerts, and even had two sold-out headlining performances at the legendary “Stanhope House.” Aside from this, they were frequent acts for breweries and restaurants all around New Jersey.
Zach also spent a year at Rider University and did a field study in Nashville, Tennessee where he got to interact and connect with music industry professionals in every subdivision of the art form.
Currently, Zach is working towards an A.A. degree in Music Recording and is also an on-call gigging musician. He is extremely ecstatic to be a part of the family at the Amp and to share his expertise with anybody he comes across!
